Lash Barre
WHAT EXACTLY ARE LASH EXTENSIONS, LIFTS AND TINTS?
Lash extensions are semi-permanent, synthetic, faux mink or silk fibers that are applied strand by strand with specially formulated non-irritating glue to your own lashes. They enhance not only your eye shape but also the length, curl, fullness, and thickness of natural eyelashes.
Lash lifts are basically a perm for your lashes. A lash lift results in a lifted, curled state to your natural lashes, similar to the effect of a lash curler, but with much longer staying power.
Lash tints use a special dye applied to your eyelashes, and gives you weeks of dark, full lashes without the assistance of mascara.

I wear contacts. Can I still get lashes or a lift?
Yes, but we do recommend that you take out your contacts prior to your service.
Can I just keep getting fill ins? How often would I need a new full set?
It is recommended that you have no more than two fill ins before removing the current lashes and getting a new full set.
Can I wear mascara?
Mascara shouldn’t be applied to your extensions. Most mascaras are oil-based, and oil breaks down the eyelash extension adhesive. It is fine to apply mascara to the bottom lashes though! You CAN wear mascara if you have had a lash lift or tint.
What is the difference between regular and volume lashes?
Classic lashes are more natural-looking, giving more length and volume to your lashes. Volume lashes give more of a glamour look - almost as if you were wearing strip lashes.
Do extensions damage your lashes? Does a lift damage them?
No, extensions alone will not cause damage to your natural lashes. Lashes can be damaged as a result of improper care and maintenance. Lash lifts are perfectly safe and do not cause any damage to your lashes.
Can you sleep on your face with lash extensions?
We recommend sleeping on your side, and if you can, switch to a silk or satin pillowcase because cotton can cause snagging.
Can you swim with lash extensions?
We recommend applying a protective coating and then brush out the excess water after your swim with a soft brush.
Is it safe to trim your lash extensions?
No. This should only be done by a lash professional. It will result in a blunt, unnatural appearance.
How do I make an appointment?
Scheduling is fastest online but you can also call the salon to schedule. New clients: we ask that you arrive fifteen minutes before your first lash appointment to complete our new client paperwork.
